WHAT IS A PEER CAREER ADVISOR?
A Peer Career Advisor (PCA) is a trained student who works in the career center to support their fellow students with career development needs. PCAs are typically undergraduate students who have received specialized training to assist with basic career services and serve as a bridge between professional career staff and the student body.
WHAT PEER CAREER ADVISORS DO:
Review resumes and cover letters
Help students navigate Handshake
Provide mock interviews
Facilitate workshops or classroom presentations
Promote career center events and services
